St. Nicholas Abbey

Built in 1658, St. Nicholas Abbey is one of only three genuine Jacobean mansions in the Western Hemisphere. The St. Peter estate offers house tours, a working rum distillery, the heritage railway to Cherry Tree Hill, a terrace cafe and gardens.
Where it is
St. Peter continues the sheltered west coast up through Speightstown, an old sugar port that has kept its working-town character. Mullins Beach is the best-known stretch.
