Barbados' beautiful coastline is seconds away. The island is well known for its variety of beaches — from the flat, calm beaches of the West Coast to the heavy Atlantic surf rollers of the East Coast.

We are home to one of the best spots to learn to surf — Surfer's Point — with two other nearby surf spots, South Point and Freight's Bay. Five minutes by bus toward Oistins is Miami Beach, a calm and popular swimming beach, and the world-famous Crane Beach is about 15 minutes to the east, near Harrismith and Bottom Bay.

Barbados has a mild tropical climate with an average temperature of 28°C, and has been known as a recuperative destination since the 1800s when it was a British colony. The dry season normally runs from January to June, and the rainy season from July to December, with September and October the rainiest months.

For surfing, there is almost always a break in Barbados, and our location — near Freight's Bay — is excellent for beginners; a 3–5 day surf break is what many of our USA guests enjoy. Mid-December to March is good for kitesurfing, and our rainforest tours and hikes run from January to August.
