What you get

Five tools Bajan food businesses actually use.

01

A kitchen screen that keeps up on a Friday night

Orders from the floor, the phone and online land on one screen in New, Preparing and Ready lanes. Tickets turn amber at 8 minutes and red at 15, so nothing gets forgotten under the heat lamp.

  • Allergy alerts on the ticket, down to the seat
  • A chime for every new order — mute it any time
  • Filter by station: grill, fry, bar, pastry
  • Sold-out (86) items flagged everywhere at once
Free till Dec 01
02

Take the order on a phone — at the table or the counter

Tap dishes onto an order and send them to the kitchen in seconds — at the table, at the counter or at the window. Fewer trips, fewer mistakes, faster service.

  • Tap to add, hold for sides, sauces and notes
  • Seats and courses, so the right plate reaches the right guest
  • Warns when a dish clashes with a guest's allergy
  • Split the check by seat or evenly
Free till Dec 01
03

Your floor, live — if you seat guests

For places with tables: see every one at a glance — free, seated, reserved or waiting to be cleared — and how long each party has been there. Seat walk-ins, move a party, mark a table clean. Counter and takeout only? Skip it.

  • Lay out your room in one click, then drag to fit
  • Assign sections to servers
  • Reservations show up on the map
  • Print seating for events and private parties
Free till Dec 01
04

Menus that sell — and switch themselves on and off

Your menu with photos on Hello Barbados, ready for pickup and delivery orders — whether you sell fish cakes from a window or a five-course dinner. Build a festival or holiday menu now: set when it starts promoting, when orders open and when it stops.

  • Festival prices without touching your regular menu
  • Pickup and delivery orders, paid when collected
  • Mark a dish sold out and it disappears from every screen
  • Your menu shows inside visitors' trip plans
Free till Dec 01
05

Gina answers when you can't

Our voice assistant knows your menu, hours and specials. She answers guests' questions, takes table requests and takeout orders, and passes on allergies — at 9 pm on a Friday or 7 am on a Sunday.

  • Answers in a friendly Bajan voice, 24/7
  • Table requests come to you to confirm
  • Mentions your festival specials
  • The same Gina visitors already use to plan their trips
Free till Dec 01

No new hardware. Pair the screens you have.

Any tablet, phone or TV with a browser becomes a screen in a few seconds — enter a pairing code and it's the kitchen display, the host stand or the pickup board. It stays awake, goes full-screen and warns you before the battery dies.

Questions food business owners ask

What's free, and until when?+

Everything on this page — the kitchen screen, ordering at the table, the floor plan, festival menus and Gina — is free until 1 December — right through the Food & Rum Festival and beyond. No card needed to start.

What happens after 1 December?+

Your listing, menu and table bookings stay free for good. We only charge a small fee on bookings and orders we send you, once the guest turns up — never on walk-ins, phone bookings or your regulars. The staff screens (kitchen display, table ordering, floor plan) carry on as an optional add-on; if you don't keep them, your profile, menu and bookings are never switched off.

I'm a small stall or a food truck — is this for me?+

Yes. Get your menu on Hello Barbados, take pickup orders and let Gina answer questions. Use only the tools you need; skip the floor plan if you don't seat guests.

Do I need to buy tablets or a till?+

No. Use the phones, tablets or TVs you already have — anything with a web browser. Pair it with a code and it becomes the screen you need.

Does it take payments?+

Online pickup and delivery orders are paid when the guest collects or receives them. In person, you take payment the way you do today; the app keeps the check and splits it by seat or evenly.

My business is already on Hello Barbados. What changes when I claim it?+

You take control: correct your details, add your own photos and menu, and switch on the tools you want. Visitors' trip plans may already be suggesting you — claiming lets you turn those suggestions into bookings.

Be ready for the busiest food week of the year.

Free till 1 December. Live in 5 minutes. No card required.
