Coco Hill Forest

Coco Hill Forest is a 53-acre agrotourism project in the hilly Scotland District of Barbados, featuring 3 km of hiking trails through over 70 species of tropical fruit trees, herbs and spices. This beautiful rainforest is home to birds, fresh water springs, tree ferns, bamboo groves, majestic Royal Palms and many fruit trees. The highest point of the forest is at 1,085 feet and overlooks the rugged East Coast with amazing panoramic views. We practise farm-to-table by growing our fruits, herbs and spices in the forest, using elements of organic farming, permaculture and vertical farming — growing as much of our own food as possible without disturbing the forest. Another objective is to become a bio-repository of tropical fruit trees: we collect seeds and fruit trees and replant them here in the forest. Our main fruits are coconuts, bananas, pineapples, mangoes, and some cocoa and coffee. Come walk among the 30-metre royal palms, bathed in the cool verdant green light of the tropical flora — our Caribbean rainforests are just as beautiful as our beaches. Our salads are made with produce grown right here in the fruit forest!
